2016 Blackbird Vineyards Dissonance 750ml

Tasting Notes: The 2016 Dissonance exudes aromas of ripe stone fruit, acacia flower, citrus, and crisp green apple.  This wine lingers on the palate with bright acidity and vibrant flavors of honeydew, nutmeg, lemon zest, and strawberry.

Winemaker's Notes: This Napa Valley white wine brings dissonance to the rhythm of Blackbird's right bank-inspired red blends.  The bright acidity of cool climate Sauvignon Blanc is brought into harmony with creamy texture and complex flavors developed through bâtonage in French oak barrels.  Stirred on its lees for 4 months and aged in 30% new French oak barrels, the 2016 Dissonance is much more characteristic of traditional Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc
